Shipping Clerk

Location: Elgin, IL, 60123

Shift Hours: 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m
Shift Days: Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $20 Per Hour
Job Type: Temp-Hire

DESCRIPTION:

Parcel Shipping Clerk include but are not limited to handling, processing, labeling, and shipping parcel orders.
Boxes can vary in size and shape and can weigh between 2lbs and 90lbs with an average box weight of 35lbs.
Some customer support for walk-in customer pick-ups and drop-offs.
Some customer support for customer repairs being dropped off.
UPS and FedEx shipping experience is desirable but not necessary for a capable individual.
English proficiency is needed for the customer support duties and communication with shipping companies and internal sales.
