Job Description:

  • Setup and operate digital die-cutting and router presses such as Zund D3, Zund S3, or Esko Kongsber XP
  • Make adjustments to cutting file in Zund Cut Center or Esko iCut software programs to optimize speed, registration and quality
  • Wile efficiently operating equipment, consistently watch for quality concerns, clean finished parts before shipping, as well as package job as speed allows
  • Document and communicate diagnostic feedback from equipment and act upon information to resolve production, maintenance, and repair issues
  • Safely move materials and completed parts to appropriate locations via forklift
  • Perform routine quality checks throughout production run
  • Package finished parts safely on cartons or pallets, depending on need
  • Thoroughly read and understand job tickets
  • Measure parts using calipers, measuring tape, and precision pens to compare to blueprints or sample parts
  • Help in other areas of business as needed such as fulfillment packaging, guillotine cutting, lamination or printing
  • Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
  • Report all work related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediately
  • Keep all work area/station in compliance with our housekeeping guidelines
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, such as keeping floors swept and absent of debris that may be a work hazard
  • Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)
  • Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Attend all department/company meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
