DESCRIPTION:

Job Output:

Reporting to the Samples Manager, the Samples Assistant supports the Samples department, creating and executing the samples requests.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Executes the Samples schedule
• Communicates professionally with department personnel
• Coordinates and closes out Samples shipments
• Works with the Engineering department on custom samples
• Maintains the samples inventory
• Maintains Sample assembly methods
• Demonstrates familiarity with product and assembly of product
• Reviews and ensures quality of Samples

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong in computer skills, including file management & organization
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing process a plus
• Detail oriented
• Professionalism in Client interaction
• Clear, concise communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Proficient in reading and writing in English

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Manufacturing and/or assembly experience preferred, but not required
• Experience and confidence operating Zund cutting machine preferred

Location & Reporting:
This position works out of the Turf manufacturing plant (Gilberts) and reports to the Samples Manager.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Requires regular lifting 30-50lbs.
