Pick, Pack, Process

• Accurately selects merchandise from shelves and organizes items onto pallets for shipping.
• Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving orders into a staging area.
• Correcting any necessary errors found on items picked vs order pick tickets.
• A healthy understanding of warehouse layout, driving order selectors, and WMS.
• Evaluate all orders and ensure accuracy of all items picked. When errors are present, communicate to responsible associate so they are fixed before order ships.
• Determine all product requirements and use warehouse system to process order and prepare required paperwork.
• Prepare daily manifests and apply appropriate labels to all pallets or boxes.
• Where applicable, master pack small-pack items and / or consolidate outgoing pallets.
• Weigh pallets to ensure accurate info is being provided to the processor.
• Once LTL orders have been verified, wrap pallets in orange shrink wrap indicating pallet is ready to ship.
• As orders are ready to ship, load pallets onto available carrier trailer or stage boxes for parcel orders accordingly.

Other Responsibilities:

Maintain warehouse and workspace cleanliness at all times.

• Assist with training newly employed worker.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
• Comply with all warehouse safety and / or OSHA requirements.
• Participates in the Amsino Quality Management System by following policies, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.

Skill Requirements

• Proficient in mathematics.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
• Recurring physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, crouching, using tools, lifting up-to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
