Maintenance Technician
Location: Barlett, IL.
Job Type: Temp To Hire
Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Pay: $22+ p/h.
Shift: 1st.
Description:
Responsible for performing building and machine preventative maintenance.
Requirements:
- Prior maintenance experience in a similar role is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
Main activities:
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on company equipment as per ERP work orders.
- Execute timely hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machine repairs as per ERP work orders.
- Repair plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
- Work on low voltage electrical issues as per ERP work orders.
- Perform hazardous communication audits and address potential safety hazards.
- Practice and maintain efficient housekeeping.
- Perform routine maintenance around the building.
- Participate in ISO 14001:2015 awareness meetings.
- Participate in IATF 16949:2016 awareness meetings.
- Participate in safety rules and regulations awareness meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
