Logistics Coordinator
Location: Aurora, IL 60506
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00 a. m. – 5:30 p. m.
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $18 per hour.

Job Description:
- This position will be involved in tasks related to many aspects of transportation to and from warehouse. The position closely interfaces with the Warehouse Manager, Shipper, Receiver, and Quality Assist in local efforts to support Lean operation as well as supporting the warehouse effo1ts.
- This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).

Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Manage all carrier allocation for completed This includes prepaid and collect customers.
- Review and analyze freight cost to customers.
- For collect customers, the Logistics Coordinator must adhere to strict routing guides for canier
- Accurately label staged pallets for outbound
- As caniers are assigned, arrange carrier orders in neat and cohesive
- Once orders ship, post BOLs in Regarding BOLs, files are to be maintained for internal use.
- Provide support for international shipments. This includes ptillct labeling, BOLs, and follow up with the Corporate
- Look for opportunities for cost savings by selecting lowest cost carriers, while also meeting customer expectations for requested
- Coordinate all inbound containers through email, while also closely working with the Receiving Supervisor for dock availability.
- As containers are empty, communicate back to both the carrier and Corporate
- Manage requests, reviewing old pick tickets, and general communication with Operations/ Customer Service in corporate office via emails or other form of
- Act as immediate backup to the Assistant Distribution Manager.
- Coordinate warehouse
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
- Data entry to ERP

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years working experience in similar field within the medical device industry with demonstrated performance in inventory planning, production planning/ scheduling and use of ERP planning system.
- Preferred Associate degree in logistics, inventory management business, or similar
- Forklift, and other equipment certifications a plu
Skill Requirements
- Excellent computer skills with focus on
- Experience of ERP systems
- Warehouse experience
- Understanding of FDA and TSO requirements and their application in the warehouse
- Strong customer service, organizational and time management
- Strong communication
- Proven collaboration skills.
