General Labor Packing

Location: Elgin, IL 60123
Shift: 1^st
Hours: 7 a.m – 3:30 p.m.
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $14 per hour.

Job Requirements / Job Description:

As a General Labor Packing Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are packaged accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with our production team to prepare items for shipment, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and uphold our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack products into boxes or containers according to specifications.
• Inspect items for quality and completeness before packing.
• Label and seal packages accurately.
• Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in packing or general labor is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to [weight] pounds.
