Description:
The Human Resources Department plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the organization’s human capital. This position involves a range of responsibilities related to employee relations, recruitment, training and development, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Main activities:
- Manage and oversee timecard reporting for both UFG employees and temporary staff, ensuring accurate and timely submission of time records.
- Take charge of handling worker injuries, including the completion of associated forms and OSHA documents to ensure compliance with safety regulations and the proper documentation of workplace incidents.
- Collaborate with the loss adjustor on workers’ compensation insurance matters, actively participating in the management and resolution of workplace injuries and facilitating effective communication to ensure a streamlined process for claims processing.
- Utilize HR systems to gather and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on HR metrics.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies.
- Be aware that management may assign additional responsibilities beyond the specific job description, as needed. Flexibility and adaptability to take on tasks outside the defined role are expected.
Job Requirements:
- Bilingual Preferred (English and Spanish)
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Promote a positive work culture and address employee concerns to maintain a healthy work environment.
